Everyone is welcome to come join us as we pick up rubbish on and around the beach and foreshore in Avoca Beach, NSW, in celebration of International Coastal Clean Up 2022.
The theme for this year is “Keep trash in the bin and not in the ocean”. Coastal Clean Up was established by the Ocean Conservancy, an organization that works to help protect the ocean from the challenges it faces every year. https://oceanconservancy.org/trash-free-seas/international-coastal-cleanup
Registration is from 9:45 am and the clean-up will run from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Bags provided but please bring a pair of gloves if you have them and bring your own reusable water bottle.
